Crytek had completed closed beta in America and Europe. That was in April 2013. The past weeks it had been a quiet around Warface, but yesterday Crytek's Executive Producer Joshua Howard posted an update on the social gaming platform GFACE. It seems they are busy rolling out the next phase, but it seems also that Crytek is not working with its publisher Trion Worlds any longer.
Crytek is set to further expand the Asian audience for their free-to-play FPS, Warface, announcing today that they will be partnering with leading online publisher NEXON Co. Ltd to bring the game to PC players in Japan.
Things are going well for Crytek's FPS Warface. Crytek has completed a successful closed beta in America and Europe and launched the open beta for its free-to-play shooter in Korea. And as for Russia Warface can rightfully claim a new Guiness World Record.
Brazil-based MMOG publisher Level Up! Games striked a deal with Crytek to publish the free-to-play MOFPS (Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter) Warface in Brazil. The publisher enjoyed success with Nexon's Combat Arms and Sudden Attack, and adds its third MOFPS to its portfolio for its Brazilian gamers.

Either German developer Crytek or US publisher Trion Worlds has updated the cover image at their Facebook page for upcoming MOFPS Warface, fueling speculations on the closed beta date for Western markets.
