Vehicular combat MMO game Crossout has entered Closed Beta as Early Access. Developer Gaijin Entertainment also added player-created, AI-controlled metal monsters called the "Leviathans" which are serious business to deal with in new PvE modes.
Crossout is all about customizing and testing your vehicle and your skills in the battlefields. You build, upgrade and customize your own deadly armored vehicle. You can trade, earn or purchase parts and upgrades and test later how each new addition affects the whole vehicle's performance. There are thousands of possibilities, that allow you to design anything from the speediest buggy to the heaviest off-road equipped with deadly armor. Next to armor, you can modify weapons, support system and more.
In a special compartment of the garage, players can now design and construct a monster vehicle that consists of previously collected parts and weapons. The Leviathans can be sent to matches, where other players have the fight those in PvE battles - which is a pretty cool feature of this game.
The Early Access build also comes with new content such as the Founders Canyon map and more.
Crossout will be free-to-play in the future, but Gaijin decided to kick off the Closed Beta via their own buy-to-play Early Access packages with the lowest price-tag starting at $19.99.
