Two eSports events concluded: S.K.I.L.L. Special Force 2 ESL Euro Series and Point Blank International Championship

point blank logoThe winners of two eSports tournaments for the free-to-play shooters S.K.I.L.L. Special Force 2 and Point Blank have been announced. Team Death.Energy won the S.K.I.L.L. Special Force 2 ESL Euro Series and team AOEXE grabbed the winner pot of the Point Blank International Championship 2014.

Organized by ESL and publisher Gameforge, the grand final of the ESL Euro Series for S.K.I.L.L. Special Force 2 took place in the ESL Studio in Cologne. In a heated head-to-head match, Death.Energy defeated team Senpai and took home €5,520 and the winner's cup. Of course it is not all about skill only, but the five-hours-a-day training paid off for Death.Energy.

The other eSports event, the Point Blank International Championship 2014, took place in Istanbul, Turkey and was organized by Nfinity Games and Zepetto. Teams from Russia, Thailand, Brazil and Indonesia made it to the semi-finals. Team AOEXE from Russia defeated team Dai Dai Gaming from Brazil and are happy to take the $30,000 prize pot back home. Those guys must have also trained hard, they managed to secure their second consecutive victory at the PBIC.
