point blank logoTeam aoeXe from Russia are the winners of the Point Blank International Championship (PBIC) 2013. They won the final round against team Guardianforce7 from Indonesia in the tournament which took place in Thailand on October 5th to 6th. 9 teams from over 70 countries qualified for the Championship. The PBIC had been initiated by Zepetto, the developer of the MOFPS (Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter) Point Blank, aka Project Blackout.

The PBIC 2013 was held by Garena, the publisher for Point Blank in Thailand. With over $50,000 in cash prizes the PBIC is one of the major online FPS tournaments.

In the final round team aoeXe beat team Guardianforce7 with with 2:1 in three nerve-rakcing matches. They take $30,000 back home.  The team DarkPassage from Turkey was able to secure the third position in the tournament. 

PBIC is the annual world-wide tournament of which the developer company, Zepetto, is the main and lead sponsor. The first annual PBIC was held in 2011 in South Korea. Point Blank players from all over the world were invited to compete in a mass competition to reveal the best and strongest team. The 3rd PBIC inivited 9 teams from 8 countries including Brazil, Indonesia, Latin America, Philippine, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey to a two days competition to battle for the championship.
