Nexon Europe is ready to kick off the first Closed Beta testing for their latest, upcoming free-to-play military-themed FPS title Combat Arms: Line of Sight. The CBT is slated for March 31st until April 2nd, 2015. Check also out the first official teaser trailer!
Players can sign up for the beta, starting March 19th until the last day before the CBT begins at the official site. On March 31st, select applicants will be receiving an email with a link to download the beta client.
The CBT client will include 4 maps and 19 fully customizable weapons and 6 PvP game modes. Combat Arms: Line of Sight will also introduce new and unique "superhuman powers and combat senses". And the first 1,000 players will get a special hero character.
Combat Arms: Line of Sight is being developed by South-Korea-based BlackSpot Entertainment, a studio founded by veterans from Nexon Korea and Nvidia. Although Combat Arms: Line of Sight is not a direct sequel, it is rather a spiritual successor to the long-running shooter Combat Arms and inherits some of its contents and core features, especially the in-depth weapon customization system. The shooter takes advantage of the Unreal Engine 3 and will provide fast-paced FPS gameplay in a variety of classic PvP game modes, some with a new twist as players can use some of 17 superhuman powers against the enemy.
Combat Arms: Line of Sight is confirmed for Europe only at this moment. Nexon Europe assures that it won't have an impact on the ongoing and future operations for Combat Arms, although both FPS won't have a connection either.
