Free-to-play MMO combat game War Thunder will be introducing more features, content and an improved engine, coming with the 1.53 update patch titled "Firestorm". The game will look better and larger desctructible objects will increase the level of realism. In addition to the improved game engine, plenty of new content including new vehicles will be there to be explored.
The rendering engine will allow more graphical details and the integration of NVIDIA PhysX Destruction will allow larger objects to be destructible such as wall fragments, ruins and even entire buildings. Players can now destroy enemy's cover which will change the dynamics of tank battle in general.
The update is said not to have effect on the PC specs requirements. "It works for every user regardless of platform or PC specs", confirmed Anton Yudintsev, CEO of Gaijin Entertainment.
"Firestorm" will also add new deadly sets of multiple rocket launcher systems, four British tanks and more than 20 new vehicles for all factions.
War Thunder players will be also able to play on two new ground maps, based on a Stalingrad tractor plant district and late-war Cologne in Germany.
