Good news for FPS gamers in Brazil, developer NS Studio just announced that it teamed up with Brazilian MMO publisher Playspot to work on a release for the military FPS Black Squad in this market, which is the most largest for online games in South America.
Black Squad saw a pretty good start in Korea with more than 300,000 new registered gamers and an average playtime of 100 minutes in the first two weeks after its launch in November.
The UE3-powered shooter provides gameplay and features as found in many other f2p FPS games, but adds extra goodies such as powerful Exo Suites, special combat skills and frenetic action in heated 32-vs-32 matches. Black Squad has been concepted to be both easily accessible for beginners and challenging for competitive FPS veterans.
For developer NS Studio this is the second publising deal, after Thailand and more is expected to be announced in the next future, as they seem to progress with fast pace to export its title.
Playspot is a MMO publisher in Brazil, who has acquired experience in working with Korean studios, as they are publishing three MMO titles, including the MMORPG Cabal Online, Divine Soul and the action RPG DarkBlood Online.
I believe that the first public Beta tests for Brazil might be rolled out in the first two quarters of 2015 (there wasn't an official date announced).
