Defiance, the open-world TPS (Third Person Shooter) from Trion Worlds, goes free-to-play. And with the start of the same-titled TV series, the f2p version is slated for launch on June 4 for PC and mid-July for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Players can download the client and play the whole content for free, including the original end-game content, future missions and the entire Bay Area storyline.
In Defiance players immerse into a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world, a dramatically changed Earth, transformed by a new species and aliens, and assume the roles of Ark Hunters who fight for rare resources. They level up in massive co-op battles, dynamic events and missions in order to acquire more powerful futuristic weapons.
