It has been quiet around 3000AD's project, the space & planetary MMOFPS game Line Of Defense. Now there is some progress. 3000AD uploaded a bunch of game assets on the website, descriptions, stats and graphics of various gear, aircrafts, vehicles, characters, buildings and much more.
The list is quite big and gives an impression of how detailed the game is in its current development status. Below are a couple of image assets. The graphics look a bit old-school to me though.
A database containing detailed info about weapons, vehicles, gear, stations, buildings and so much more has been made available on the official website.
In the upcoming sci-fi MMOFPS Line of Defense players will engage in combat as one of two opposing sides fighting for control of military bases across various continents on contested planets and space regions. As an infantry marine with access to various weapons of mass destruction, engage in frontlines combat using land and naval vehicles, as well as various aircrafts and gunships, all in a massive, open persistent world.
There is no word on a launch date yet, it had been scheduled to be released for the PC in 2013 once. Sign-ups for beta are live. 3000AD will offer a hybrid business model which caters to both free-to-play (f2p) and premium models, both with access to in-game monetization.
