A couple of weeks ago Aeria Games launched the free-to-play FPS F.E.A.R. Online and the ESL wants to check out if the shooter has got any potential to become a permanent game on their platform. It is a bit tight, but there is still time left to hook up with your clan mates and sign up for the first trial, set for December 7th.
In F.E.A.R. Online players can delve into the dark atmosphere in the PvE content, set in the FEAR stories, but the PvP modes provide balanced and competitive FPS gameplay which might form a solid base for the game to move into the eSports scene.
At least, ESL wants to give it a try and set up the first F.E.A.R. Online 5on5 Community Cup #1 Europe to kick off on Sunday 7, 08:00 PM CET, and that would be the first eSports tournament for the FPS.
Sign up your team before Sunday 7, at 7:40 PM CET at the latest.
Head over to the official ESL page for all details and take your chance to grab one of some small or big prizes for the finalists, as promoted by Aeria Games.
The free download for F.E.A.R. Online is available at the official site.
