Respawn Entertainment and EA announced that Titanfall 2 will be available for a first Open Multiplayer Technical Test in August, prior to the game release on October 28th. Fans who own a PS4 or Xbox One system can get their hands on the improved Pilot and Titan gameplay.
Over 600 participants had participated in the first test of the pre-alpha version of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, the latest game production of Bluehole, the creators of the MMORPG TERA. The open world shooter is being developed in colloboration with PLAYERUNKNOWN, creator of the fan-favorite “Battle Royale” game modes for ARMA 3 and H1Z1.
Blizzard Enterainment's Overwatch surpassed League of Legends and is the most played game in Korea by today. Overwatch reached an overall playing time of 30% of all Korean gamers, measured by Gametrics.
Oh that is good news for Blizzard Enterainment. Overwatch shot straight in at no.1 in the UK, right after the launch on May 24th. But more interestingly, the shooter secured the no. 2 spot on the overall top ranking of all played PC games in Korea, a country where free-to-play is the only business model for gaming.

Tom Clancy's The Division broke the record with 6.4 million players in the Beta which took place February 19-21 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. According to Ubisoft this was the "biggest beta ever for a new IP on current generation platforms". That is a nice start for the action shooter-RPG which is set for release on March 8th.

Offworld Industries announced that the tactical FPS Squad will receive new content and features, coming wih the Alpha V2 patch which is set for release on Friday October 30th, 6 AM GT. It will add two new game modes, 7 new weapons, a new weapon attachment system, a new inventory system and many other new features.

Nexon Korea has entered into a game development and publishing agreement with Electronic Arts to bring the FPS Titanfall to Asia. Although this is not mentioned in the official press release, no doubt - Titanfall will be free-to-play.
