MMO Firefall Firefall is set to fully launch on July 29th and reintroduces the PvP mode, which must be played cooperatively and strategically.
Firefall's PvP incorporates fully into the game's general concept, it is based on an Open World setting, located on a resources-rich zone called Broken Peninsula, and primarily a mission-based game mode. Maximum 200 players will pit in against each other in three and ten teams with up to 20 players.
Teams will try to capture one of six large outposts and take control over the SIN network to deploy turrets, repair kits and vehicles.
The objective is to gather as many resources as possible and store them inside the outpost. Players need to defend the the resources or attack other team outposts to loot their resources. And in addition to the PvP conflict, there will be plenty of NPCs, the Chosen, who have fun attacking humans.
Red 5 Studios remarks that low-level players will have hard time to make an impact in PvP.
This and details about the full launch can be found at the official site.
